Working on the music for theater piece Flip Flop, performed live the 4th of july till the 7th of july at the ArtEZ finals.
Making work always starts with a crush - on bubble plastic, extinct birds, swimming pools, moving boxes. Hand in hand with my lovers I create a new world, where I reflect on existing structures and systems. By wandering through the details I look for the intimate in the public where new stories evolve. I address topics such as feeling of being home, the housing crisis, alternative family structures, power dynamics and public spaces in a witty tone. You will find the result of the flirts into paintings, ceramics, sculptures, writings and performances.- Alma van Woudenberg
